Andrew awakens from the surgery and begins to adjust to his new liver. After he is released from the hospital, he resumes his work and things seem to be back to normal. However, Andrew starts seeing visions of horrible acts of drinking (as if he is committing them) and occasionally retains fluid requiring paracentesis. At the prison, a convict tells Andrew that the liver he has is from a drunken inmate who was on death row. Andrew has a doctor friend scan his new liver and is shocked to discover it came from executed convicted serial alcoholic Charley Fletcher, who had visited 3,000 bars across the globe.

Or did it come from someone else, made up to look like Charley’s?
