I’m not gonna punch the puppy, but…

So, I decided today that I need a framework for this whole next chapter. And I decided that the phrase about punching puppies was a good metaphor for stirring things up.

Boss: “Hey Bob, do you have that paperwork done yet?”

Bob: “I don’t wanna punch the puppy, but I gave it to Roy and he said he’d do them yesterday.”

So. What is this one about. Well, I titled it The Journey to Find True Crazy, so one could extract that I am indeed on a mission to find my definition of sanity, which I think is a bit off.

True Crazy I am going to define as the spirit of the movie Withnail and I. Simply describes as: In 1969, two substance-abusing, unemployed actors retreat to the countryside for a holiday that proves disastrous.

I am not unemployed, substance abusing, or one that goes on holiday, but I do embody this quote:

You’re not leaving me in here alone. Those are the kind of windows faces look in at.

– Withnail

I am trying to find who those people are in the windows. I have a theory that they are all me, in various stages of my life. (I think I did enough of the substance abuse in my life for these ideas to still take shape.)

So, to sum up.

This blog, story, second part of the life summary, is about who those fucking people in the window are, and WHY THEY ARE STARING AT ME!

Cause if it’s me, I’m kind of a dick.

So I’m gonna punch the puppy. See what happpens.

Truth is relative.
